Looking down at the view
Trying to tell myself what it is I should do
Trying to understand what it takes to be this man
Who's confused about his issues and just doesn't understand

At all the lights that surround
I can see the cars go by down the hill
People carrying on with their lifes untouched by my ills

I start the car gun the throttle
And I start to drive
I can see in the distance for miles and miles
Down the tarmac I twist through the bends as I watch this world flow without end
And I dream I dream I'm top of the hill

There's an interesting contrast between the almost lullaby - like softer sounds and the passionate vocals.

The string arrangement makes it hit even harder.
