I listened again to the version I did in 2020, of Eric Satie's Gymnopedie n°1, finalized version with a lot of effect and I found this version ...very ugly ;D

so I'm republishing the version played with my takamine Hirade, but without effects, just a little reverb.

I thought of republishing this new version for friend Ray ...

Very nicely played, JP. Solo pieces like this can be quite difficult to play as every note is exposed.

To play this beautiful piece by Eric Satie straight through is a testament to your ability.

Great rendition JP. I dont know much else of Satie's music but this one is an immortal piece that I love which must have had a big influence on ambient music. The guitar when the melody comes in sounds lovely.

ODH

Love this piece and you did a beautiful version.

Lovely JP

And what a great sound you've got here. What gear did you use to record this? And what guitar is that?

Beautiful played, JP. I've loved Gymnopédie No. 1 since the first time I've heard it. Sounds excellent on guitar as well - so relaxing.

Très bon!
