45 years inthe military this means something to me you probably did not intend it to be but the music and the vocals just suck you in I think this is one of your better songs of many good ones

I went to a High School reunion this weekend and saw some friends I had not seen in about 20, 30 years and unfortunately learn that some of them had past away.. Your lyrics reminded me of all the good times we had together when we were in High School and how life is fragile ..

For me there seem to be many influences here, Peter Gabriel, John Martyn, Daniel Lanois... Maybe others too that I can't place. It still manages to keep its own unique character though.

glad you could relate to the lyrics, we don't have reunions here that i know off,  but do hear of people lost very young some, life is short for sure

Thanks nah none of those are infulences . only infulence is probably that i like modern folk/poprock which usually is just a bass drum and catchy though there is a lot of produced fake sounding stuff about,
do love don't give up though by gabriel still want to cover that if ever find a good female singer
