The Day the Clown Cried

Let me find us a lonely place
Our bodies move in a quiet disgrace
You better come before i lose my nerve

You act like everyone owes you beer
You wear a frown just by coming here
You better move before i lose my nerve

CH:
That was the day the earth turned grey
I was buying bubble gum just to get away

I saw the painter on the door
I saw his paintings on the floor
Now every canvas holds a piece of his war

Sorry for the adlib solo. I played the first one and didn't bother going for the second (outro). I might get back to this, or maybe not... :)

Cool poetic lyrics and nicely produced even though it's only a demo.

Excellent track Zoltan. Nice addition of organ and piano here. It actually kinda reminds me of a Greeny song, especially those chord progressions.
Great "scatting" at the end! :D

Wow, for a demo, this is well performed and produced. Very fine work! 8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

really digging those keyboards... makes this really extra fun and delish!

your little picture for your name... the one with the big smile... you should do one with a frown for this one... not because the song is bad, it isn't... because the clown had a frown.

also it is impossible to get a song listening to it just once... imo the only way one can decide if they love a song or not is to listen to it about 20 times or more.

First off this demo sounds like it is the finished goods. A cool sing along chorus. Your vocal is good and very melodic. I like the keys. Nice work Zoltan!

Now come on, your demos are better than most people's finished songs, that's not fair  :D
You put a lot of hard work into these demos. Nice chords in the verses and chorus. I like the kind of flanged guitar. Organs and drums are good too. Cool lyrics.
