Nothing worse than water. It's a truly scary thing when flooding and storms get out of control. These stories are frightening, heart goes out to all people in the area affected and hoping all SCers are safe and sound at least.

yeah, the area where Hook is many people are evacuating and that is not a picnic as I-75 which goes north toward Georgia is using extra lanes to leave the area... the problem has been that there are gasoline shortages and so many cars... and folks are moving like 25 mph... but if people can keep going they will likely be out of the target area... hopefully you have a few drivers in the vehicle and can get gas and can switch drivers and sleep in the car while moving... many will be ok...some won't... how do you move really old people in homes etc.  it is going to be bad... there is no shortage for bad stuff...
