Fade in/out on MICRO BR

Hello everyone. I'm a new guy to the forum and a new user to the MICRO BR, but I have taken to it like a duck to a lake. One thing I can't accomplish is fade in/out. I've tried adjusting the input wheel on the fly, (using the onboard mic as input), and adjusting track volume during bouncedown - neither worked. I'm attempting to use nature sounds as a backdrop to an acoustic guitar piece. Any suggestions?

You can fade in or out while bouncing your tracks. Just press [UTILITY] then use the -/+ buttons to adjust the Master level.

i tend to import the mastered mp3 to my pc and stick it on cooleditpro (an earlier version of audicity that i prefer to use) and do the fade in/outs there.

Just to clarify, Cool Edit Pro is the predecessor of Adobe Audition.

Audacity is a free, open source sound editor for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and isn't related to Cool Edit Pro or Audition at all.

I agree with your main point. It's easier and more accurate to do fades in a sound editor such as CoolEditPro/Audition or Audacity. Your fades will be much smoother than if you try to do them manually on the BR.

I do my "tidying up" in Audition 2, also use Ozone for a final master if needed, runs well in Audition. Was just curious about how to do it on the MBR.
