A little collab from myself and Kenny Mac.

I put up an instrumental recently and I got a pleasant surprise when Kenny offered to make it into a full blown track with vocals and extra parts done with real class. It has morphed into something special I think.

A blast from the past

A  ghost from the past
A shock to the system
The way that that they talked
The way that she kissed him.

As the dark skies broke
They ran to the car
And my mind ran wild
Opened every scar
I could feel her words
Echoe over in my head.

Like a message
From
A cold dark place


And I stood so still
Trying not feel
As my life replayed
Every single reel


As I turned away
I could hear her say
Let's get out of here
Too many memories here

You're right, Mike - this is special. Great collab from you two to create this excellent atmospheric track with great production, vocals and instrumentation. To me it's got a kind of 80's feel - maybe it's the synths and bass - dunno. Whatever this is a fantastic track, guys. Love it.
