This is my first track in a long time. I am sure it's the longest I've gone without posting. Too much going on at the moment but wanted to keep my hand at least.

So this is just an old unfinished track of mine I never posted. I reworked it made it into a tune and then just noodled along on top.

The drum beats caught me a bit of guard at first. This is slightly more pop oriented song coming from you. Those 80's influenced synth beats and drum stuff that's maybe a bit 90ish.

I was kinda waiting for the vocals to appear, but the soloing has enough melodic interest to make it works as is.

Clean production and stylish playing.

Nice track. I find myself gazing into middle distance listening to it. Could have been the theme music to an 80's beach based film, Karate Kid maybe.

This is a great laid-back piece of music, Mike. That driving pulsating drum beat, the lovely rhythm guitar chords and the background synth make a perfect backdrop for the excellent lead guitar work. Even after just over four minutes long it seemed to end too soon. Love it.

Yeah different sound from your norm but it sounds so cool.
Maybe sneak a vocal in between the guitar that would  be great.

I really like the percussion you have going on there with the bass underneath it.  Guitar work is great.

yeah, this is a classic Mike Stewart sound... but it is cinematic for sure... instrumentals like this always work for me.... really tasty and as Nick alluded this is great for daydreaming... just being inside the tune and the tune inside me... becoming one with the tune...
and that means it is really special.

great work and awesome to hear you posting.

Very nice track! Dig the contrast between the gentle flowing background against the driving percussion and haunting melodic lead. Enjoyable listen! 8)

I can only wish to be able some time to make such nice music.
I do have an electric bass and guitar, i do have an acoustic guitar. I even have a keyboard and a Roland drum set What I seem to miss is skills. So to cure my at least 40y frustration I dicovered my instrument being my voice. So I finaly had the nerve to take singing lessons and make my voice heared thanks to Songcrafters.

That guitar is heavenly, I love the mix of lots of guitar work and the more synthesized bits. A really pleasant and blissful instrumental, kind of a bit of a Mayer vibe here (and I mean that highly!)
