I've got as far as recording my guitar on V track 1-7 respectively, so that I have several different takes, so I now know how to chose the V track I am recording to.

What I am unsure about is how I chose the correct V track for playback of that track alone. Looking at the V track screen I can see V1 V1 V6 and V6. I take it that the V1 at the left is the track that I am going to play, but what should I set the 3 figures V1,V6 and V6 to? Also if there are 8 Virtual tracks why have I only got 4 V numbers here.

Clarification would be very welcome please. Confused. ???

When you look at the VTrack screen, the four values correspond to the four playback tracks. Notice how the four values are above the four track buttons. Each value corresponds to the playback track of the TRx button below it.

 VTrack ■□□□□□■■ <
   V3  V2  V1  V1

[TR1][TR2][TR3][TR4]

So, in the screen above, TR1 is set to v-track 3, TR2 is set to v-track2, and TR3 and TR4 are set to v-track 1.
