My Team's Playin' Tonight

Hi I wrote this big hockey anthem called "My Team's Playin' Tonight" with the hopes of having Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea) record it. I think it would be perfect for his voice and also for the energy he brings to his songs. The lyrics are below. Thank you. I made a YouTube video for it. They're done getting dressed, their skates have been laced
The crest is over their chest, the sweater's been graced
The game's gonna test If they got what it takes
It's time to prove they're the best and march down the hallways
The boys are psyched, the fans feel the same
If they got to fight, they're gonna be brave
For braggin' rights, for glory in the hall of fame
And all the fans that came

When they were kids with a dream they would stay up late
Watching TV screens looking up to the greats
The hallowed ground of the game gave meaning to life
Now they play for a team on a big city stage
And the fans in the seats wearing their last names

The fans come alive when the lights go down
They get that feeling inside, "This is my hometown!"
And when the players arrive the ground shakes from the sound
If you're one of the guys you give a round of fist pounds

Btw, as a lifetime fan of hockey i totally get the excitement.
I got to see Gretzky play once when he was on the Rangers...
 Also I actually lived long enough to see a Rangers stanley cup victory with the great Mark Messier leading the charge in 94!  Doubt I will be aroundfor their next one..
Also the excitement of the miracle on ice in 1980..
