You were probably at Woodstock too (and remember nothing of it).

And now that we've got the compliments done...

That organ. Yeah. Those vocs. Yeah. Man.

when woodstock hit when I was 9 years old and I was only 3 hours away... can you imagine?  lol... I had no idea... and since you brought it up... we are just 10 days away from the 55th anniversary.  think about that... I was reading about Creedence Clearwater Revival... at the time they were already dominating the airwaves and selling millions of records so they did not need to go to woodstock for any promo purposes... and they were the headliner one night and playing after the Greatful Dead... however due to rain and the length of time the Dead played Creedence did not even start until after midnight...much of the crowd was asleep (according to John Fogerty)... so Fogerty did not allow any of the video of his band to get out because he was worried it would be viewed negatively like the band were boring or awful etc...
they did not need the PR...I would imagine there are hundreds of great story lines...
and here is one more
Joan Baez and Creedence Clearwater Revival were among the highest-paid performers at Woodstock, receiving $10,000 each, or about $70,000 today, after adjusting for inflation.
