I am reading this.

I highly recommend it.  I am learning heaps and its written in a very understandable way that anyone with a little bit of recording experience will be able to follow.

And whilst it is not cheap, it is much cheaper than a series of DVDs.

cheers,

Ian

Predictably, a book about the Smiths.  The guy is completely OCD, tells the story of every song they ever recorded.  Fascinating insight though for any Smiths fan.  I'm currently half way throught the How Soon is Now chapter.

Speed Demon

Black Ops by W.E.B. Griffin.

An adventure/thriller. Reminds me of Tom Clancy's style of writing.

Have seen the film, but wanted to read the novel...both are compelling.  8)

UPDATE: Book was actually more compelling than I remember the film, actually heartbreaking in the description of French Jews being deported by train to the Nazi camps. Worth a few hours of anyone's time.  8)
