I listened to the Isley Brothers version and heard it in my head as a kind of Sonic Youth treatment, I think it was the robust, iconic lead guitar.

So that's what I made, Summer Breeze if it was covered by Sonic Youth.

Guitars (which are all on my Ibanez acoustic, two through amp sims) and then GarageBand drums (Kyle), P bass and my vocal.

sound great with only an acoustic (and amp sims)
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I love this song but only heard Seals and Crofts.
Sonic and youth seem to fit the vibe of this.

Killer work and i like the fact you record in various ways...ie acoustic git fiddle through the electrifiers... cool.

This is awesome, love it. The hook lick is tight with the trem, very cool how you got the acoustics to sound like that.

Well done!

Truth is, the lightning connection on my iPhone phone broke and I can only record using the microphone at the moment. It's why I've been doing so many acoustic tracks of late. This time I wondered if it would sound any good through the amp sim.  My expectations were exceeded.

That's cool. Almost the most possibly different it can be from the original. I almost wouldn't have recognized it except I'm very familiar from having done a cover (closer to original) for the summer fest a few years ago:

Hell yeah! You definitely nailed the Sonic Youth vibe, I love that heavy tremolo on the guitar and your vocal so punk and wicked. I really enjoy this!

i don't know the original but this sounds awesome

You have managed to fuse schmaltz and goth into a devastatingly interesting morsel. I downloaded this for further consumption. The whole vibe of this is great, but where you place the vocals against the bass as the juicy tremolo was prefect.
