I'm gonna say this again to clarify.  I want this to end.  I want peace with my fellow members here.

Again, for the 5th time, I MADE A MISTAKE.  A HUGE ONE.  Yes, you are all 1000% right that this is the BEST music forum on the internet and I thank Oldrottenhead, 64 guitars and all of the team for keeping it up and running.

It's been a miserable summer for me so far.  My car broke down on me TWICE.  I have a molar that is in desperate need of a root canal that hurts every time I try to eat something and the earliest the endodontist can get me in is August 12.  That's 5 weeks away.  I'm considering a liquid diet till then cos it just hurts too much to eat anything.  Then, on top of all this we found out last week that my step daughter has cancer.  Her prognosis is good but we're all worried.  They're doing surgery in a few weeks.  I care about her deeply. It's gotten so bad that a few times I was actually considering eating a gun but talked myself out of that.  In my faith, suicide is murder and I don't want to spend eternity in that bad place below.

These are not excuses for me to go crazy on you last week. That's why I apologized.  Somewhere in all that thread I said "I'm sorry.  I was wrong".  Then , just as I thought things were cooling down I see that Ray Brookes put up the Stay Cool thread.  I thought at first is was about offering tips to beat the heat in the summer but it was an attack on me!

Ray, I'm deeply sorry for all the negative things I said about you.  You are by far a better musician than me.  Your songs are better and more interesting than mine.  You clearly deserve all the accolades you get.  I'm thinking of  just getting my Martin acoustic down off the wall and go back to just the simpler things like I wrote when I started writing years ago.  I AM NOT SAYING YOUR MUSIC IS TOO SIMPLE.  It has a sophistication to it but is more relatable to the majority of people here and everywhere.  Maybe if I wrote more along those lines and dropped the fancy chords more people would be able to relate more to it.  That's on me.  Not on you.

I really hope that we can all get beyond this and go back to having a good relationship with each other (meaning between me and the rest of this forum).  I don't need or want anymore "lectures".  I've given myself more already than any of you could've possibly come up with.  There isn't anymore "wet noodle lashing" you could give me than I haven't already given myself.  It was all stupid and selfish of me.

Please, let's be friends again.  I miss it so much.
