This is something I worked on for a while starting on the 18th of June.  June turned out to be one of the most rewarding music months for me ever... as far as recording goes.
I recorded 11 songs and participated in 2 additional colabs.

I spend hours playing, recording, mixing... and listening to lots of other music... including SC!

It is therapy and it keeps me out of other trouble as well... I kind of got away from playing live much... it was putting me at risk for some bad outcomes (as in potential disaster)... so it is better for me to stay in a cage per se...

I like this track alot... and spent quite a bit of time on the guitars and keyboards...  I want to use keys more... they can add alot..

this is all Shecter..  the effects were the Zoom 24 Distortion ... a few different ones. ... also a clean rhythm guitar.... ... but I also modify them sometimes with the Waves stuff... I like playing with tracks..

I likely won't record much this month... i will be heading north for my nephews wedding and also to hang out with my sister and her family...

I'm an amateur, fiddlin with many parameters.
I'm cloning tones to chill my bones.
Banging away, at my musical hypocrisy.
I don't have a clue.  My face is turning blue.
I seek resuscitation from my musical frustration.
Worse yet I think I've improved.
Now I'm just barely in tune.

I hear things in my head.  But musically they come out dead.
I'm trying my best, right here in my backyard.
I don't have a chorus.  Barely a verse.
But give me lots of delay and I'll fly away.
You don't like flanger?  Well I ain't Mark Bellanger.
I could have played shortstop if only I were a lot better.
But I can make a mean grilled cheese sandwich.
Make it quick as you please.
However, whipping up a tune.  They come out the back door like prunes.
I don't have chourus.  I barely have a verse.
But give me lots of delay and I'm sailing away.

Love the hook played throughout the song on the Schechter. Great lyrics too about songwriting ! I like the ending on the keys.

A wild ride as usual Stephen.  Strong rock vibes and I'm really impressed with the falsetto vocals at the start.

Synth ending is the icing on the cake.  I like a good synth.

Music is the best therapy I have found.

This is brilliant Steve... hope you get a couple more comments.

But to me this is fantastic... I love the sentiment in the vocal although you do yourself a slight disservice. You create some damn fine music. But I hear you. And I feel the same.

Like Paul said it's the best therapy.

Oh... lyrics... come on brilliant. And I hear a bit of Iron Maiden in those lovely lead motifs
