This song had a difficult birth.
I had finished the music and was ready to put the vocals on to complete it.
I noticed there was some white noise coming from some tracks at the start so clicked select all and split on all tracks and cut them all at the start.
My plan was to delete the tracks right at the be begining so there was no noise.
So all tracks to left would be deleted and all tracks to the right  would remain.
I hit the wrong button and it deleted all the right tracks.
Now this would normally be a straight forward fix with hitting the undo button but just as I went to press it the app crashed.
It then went into save mode when rebooting and came back with just all the left tracks...the song was gone.
I was devastated as I had spent some considerable time on it.
Anyway determined and fuming I redone the full thing and it actually sounded better ,playing wise.
It sounded tighter so the 1st one I'll put down to a rehearsal.
This song is about freeloaders who think the world owes them a living.

Glad you stuck with it, I think it was worth it.

Great production, mix and performance. Guitar tones are excellent, and like that synth/brass over the chorus too.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

You've got a nice and expansive sound going on there. Groovy good times.

your extra work seems to have paid off KM... this is really superb!
the vocals have the passion of an 18 year old after receiving an inheritance of a million dollars.
that opening guitar expression along the bass line is so satisfying!
Your vocals are so pro.
the horns really add lots of depth and quality...take this way up there.
lyrics are really perfect.
there is no moving sidewalk...time that you walked... right now.

Great track, Kenny. I've done the same thing in the past and accidentally deleted the wrong sections of a song. Fantastic guitar sound you get and I like the theme of the lyrics along with excellent vocals.

Great contrast between the verse and chorus. At first thought you were doing a 2 chord fest until that cool chorus kicked in. Nice one! 8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Whatever the first version was like - this one is magic.  Those backing vocals are absolutely spot on.  A very fine production and the song is so full of hooks I'm caught everywhere.

You use a DAW on your ipad don't you Kenny?  They often have an autosave function which might allow you to find an earlier saved version.  Obviously you don't need it now but it might save some chuntering in future.
