This song is based loosely on those volunteer neighbourhood watch groups, who patrol neighbourhoods at night trying to keep the area safe.

I had one such group in my area years ago.
They mean well but they sometimes ended up disturbing us late at night, scaring the wife, shining their torches around outside and making noises which just put you on edge!!

I came up with the music first then the idea for the lyrics came after. Sent it to Keith who collaborated further and sang vocals.

Bloody marvellous.  Stunning in fact.  The music is fabulous and the vocals and lyrics are outstanding.  I get a few Kinks vibe but so totally original.
