This track won't make the album (The list for that is pretty much settled) This is just because.......

Rhythm guitars (Tele) both put through Marshall MG10 - R with overdrive - L with distortion plug in. Mic used for amp is a subZero.
Lead guitar (Sally - my custom guitar) - through Marshall MG10 with overdrive and delay plug in
Benson Music Man bass - into Vandal amp plug in.

Reap the Whirlwind

I say it once again
There's no one else to blame
You treat your friends so bad
You think it's all a game

I have said so many times
You shall reap the whirlwind
How can someone be so blind
Not to see the mess they're in?

You got no moral code
You got no innocence
And all you want is fame
You got no common sense

I have said so many times
You shall reap the whirlwind
How can someone be so blind
Not to see the mess they're in?

If you could feel the pain
Of all your piety
You got an empty head
Ha, I blame society

I have said so many times
You shall reap the whirlwind
How can someone be so blind
Not to see the mess they're in?

A good one! You're really reaping the seeds of your planting. Meaning that you've paid them dues and now you've got songs in you like a Mogwai ready to be watered with a garden hose.

You're making great use of that Mg10. What made you do the switch from plugins to this one? Was it the ease of use, the touchy feely vibe of the real thing, or just for the heck of it?

I like the fact that we're not tied down by the tools we use. Lots of folks here are playing through different gear and the sound that comes out is always their own. Just like here. It's pure Ron and all the better for it!

Locked and loaded! I really dig the way you sing the chorus and the crunchy guitars are a real treat. Well done!

Hey Ron that Marshall MG10 really rings out nicely! The song excellent as are your vocals. I like that snappy snare. The guitar rhythms (in the solo bridge) with those couple of dissonant notes works great and cool solo!

This cosmic rock is well above "albums"...
This song cannot have boundaries it defies them.
What this is a superb track that encompasses so much vibe and energy it could possibly what is spinning the earth on its axis.  Maybe the poles will shift because of this.  Its so massive that even aliens are coming here to listen from outer space...
I won't be surprised if the author gets abducted.  Entire star systems will desire to study this entity.

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

This should be on your next album Ron, it's a cracker of a song. Those crunchy guitars sound brilliant, cool bass, cool drums. And your vocals are as great as ever. I also love the lyrics, you write some great lyrics.
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

Good old honest rock n roll. Great groove and excellent tone on those guitars, Ron. That MG10 is certainly getting a good workout.
