Fine song here John. Your vocal delivery - and lyrical style - is quite unique.  And that sax is super cool.

This is up to your usual high standards. I like the vocal harmonies, they lift it in the right places.

I take it the sax is from keyboard/synth - it sounds really good.

I like the oberheim sound too, made the think of Tom Sawyer, which I guess is a long way from this!

This is the one i tried to cover :D I did enjoy the song a lot, but trying to get deeper into it didn't work for me.

Perhaps with notes and decades worth of schooling might do the trick? Then i could hire session musicians to make sense of it all.

As a musical piece and an emotional ride this is fantastic :)
