Well done. I think the best two-chord songs are the ones where you don't notice that it's two chords. I can't say for sure, because spoilers, but I don't think I would have noticed.

I do love the theme of "Nature will reclaim all it lost to the humans." It's something I've been thinking about for a long time. Since 1981 I've had a big coffee-table book called "After Man" by Dougal Dixon. The book forces you to think about all of the species that we can/may/will take down with us when/if we go extinct. The species may be gone, but the niches will still be there, and nature will fill those new niches with new, wonderful species that we can only imagine – and Dixon does a lot of imagining.
