I'm doing a whole BUNCH of stuff, none of which is finished and won't be for some time.

I'm also experimenting with getting songs out on the internet asap in a state in which I'm comfortable.

While figuring out a jamming set up, I stumbled across how to use the Windows Camera app to record video from my USB Camera but Audio from my PreSonus interface.

It was a short step from there to realise that my "One mic for vocal and guitar" technique I used a while back would work.

After that, just bung it on youtube and there you go

Here's a live demo of a song I wrote back on 10th December 2023.

I was ill and watching the documentary about Tom Petty making Wildflowers. I was moved to pause the doc and try something I'd spotted him doing.

Me and the guitarist from my old band have been rehearsing it in an Americana-type arrangement ever since.

No effects.

Great tune and vid, Andy.  Lyrics are so true and relevant for our time.  I also love the minimal live acoustic guitar and voice approach.  That's how I started years ago.  I still have my Martin D 18 but I really can't play it anymore.  Don't know if it's the guitar or me.
