A special time pushed cover version of the KISS classic "I Was Made For Loving You".

I played those Casio parts with 100% conviction. That disco bassline is the only vocal sample this time.

I like kiss... however my exposure was limited... after all what would a christian raised kid be doing listening to a band that some said stood for "Knights In Satans Service?"

I think I heard this... my favorite was Detroit Rock City.

i was never into costumes much.

so you just keep pumping out these great 2 minute songs... I feel like I need more.  but this is really good... if I smoked cigarettes I would be chain smoking wondering what just hit me and wanting more and feeling like my love just after asking me to make a sandwich after they just experienced the climax of a lifetime but left me wanting more.  So never mind... I just hit repeat button.. and it will keep going.

that guitar against that drums... wicked.
however the keyboards do make this exciting.  exciting... exciting

I credit KISS as the first band I was interested in that wasn't on top 40. In 6th grade (1975) I dressed up as Gene Simmons. I used white shoe polish on my face. I have a photo of this, which is rotting in a photo album. It's never been scanned. I didn't stay a KISS fan for long, although there was some pleasure knowing that Christian paranoiacs thought they were something more than grown men dressed up in silly costumes.

But in 1979, when this song was released and I looked like this, I was the paranoiac – thinking that the sinister forces of disco had purchased the souls of rock artists. I saw them falling one by one: The Rolling Stones ("Miss You"), KISS ("I Was Made for Loving You"), Pink Floyd ("Another Brick In The Wall"). I believed the End Times were surely upon us.

Great guitar tone Zoltan! And the "bass" – you'd never guess it was voice sample.

yes disco seemed to be the devil... or something like that... I had a button I wore..."Disco sucks, support your local rock and roll band."
what I did not fully know yet.. rock ain't gonna die.  It is too good... and it comes in lots of packages.
Disco was a fad, a big one... and was a big moneymaker... then it wasn't.
