part of the Love Theme from the film Cinema Paradiso
As always, Ennio Morricone's music is admirable.

I was looking for an instrumental piece to do a duet (self duo ;D ) Classical nylon guitar/Melodica
I found the score of this piece, I was inspired by Pat Metheny's version, live at the Marciac festival in 2003.

So this is my 27th film music theme

QuoteThe film Cinema paradiso
In Rome in the late 1980s, Salvatore has just learned of the death of his old friend Alfredo. This news brings back memories of his entire childhood: his native village in Sicily, when he was known as Totò and divided his free time between the church (where he was an altar boy) and the parish cinema, where Alfredo, the projectionist, taught him about life through the films he showed.

This is sublime!

Morricone is certainly one of the all time greats and you're doing him justice with your moody cover version. Real music, real feelings.

The melodica wonders keep on coming! The more you play, the more I'm falling in love with the instrument.

yes Ted, the nice thing about this instrument, apart from the price of 29 euros (although there are professional models at over 3000 euros...) is that you can do a tremolo on the held notes, as with all wind instruments.
