This is the song I entered into the NPR-Tiny Desk song contest for this year. The Youtube video recording of the song is about the same. I didn't think I would enter the contest for a 4th year, but I felt good about the message and had the time to put together a video entry. Seemed no reason not to.

No, the river rising won't mind the flood.
Like arms of the ocean, to the sky every open.
Given good and bad, it fills up in love.
Any and all and more than enough.

What lessons? To accept this life gave what you need.
The good and bad equal the meaningful between.

Great words and message. The line "Be as the water, ever open to the sky" is a stand out to me. You have a very good voice and you sing this well. The piano accompaniment is excellent!
