Great take on this Nick. It does almost sound like a completely different tune but there are undercurrents of the original for sure - along with the lyrics. Damn what a fine memory too... one to cherish and not TMI... it's life, we all have some great moments that still burn!

I gotta admit I am a big Tina Turner fan.  As a musician and singer I love to listen to her alot and then attempt to sing like her... I can never get close but it sure does change me.

this is such a cool cover... that pulsing bass with the simple and elegant uke plucks make this fascinating... and the swirl that comes in... and your vocals are awesome.
