My son is 12 he just recently started going out with a girl from school but they had to keep it secret as her father didn't want his daughter dating which is understandable but he's come round to the idea and she is coming for dinner on Sunday. Anyway the idea popped into my head about secret relationships hidden from the protective father and took the perspective of Juliets father...

My eyes are tired. Somehow i'm lacking energy.

That's my excuse of reading the first lines as "my 12 year old son went into a girlschool". That perked my interest.

Luckily i didn't need to get my reading glasses (i have none) and soon my brain was able to comprehend the real storyline behind this song.

But hey... What's your excuse? This song only had ONE comment and seeing that the second comment will be mine that's a shame. A dirty shame for Reg having to read this

and a shame because this is actually quite heartfelt rocker and the lyrics show that father Reg has his heart in the right place. The song even has cool guitar soloing.
