I love it when songs jump out and write themselves down. This has a little bit of a ragged edge that I think works very well with the lyric. The almost frenetic lead fits the mood of the lyric, too. And your vocal brings it all together very nicely. Going to the major at the end of the vocal phrase on the first two verses works so damn well.
