It's Sonic Youth, that's who it reminds me of! Finally got that today as I was listening to this again. That's a very cool influence in my book. But it's still unique - they can't sing/scream/howl like you can!

HOLY SHIT!

You are too much, T.  I honestly don't know how you jump genres so easily and smoothly.  I love the bassline and how it almost harmonizes with the guitars!  The vocals are nice and dirty -- would've liked them a tad less effects-heavy, but I think that's the vein of song you were going for.  Reminds me of Henry Rollins or other early-90s post-punk.  Very cool stuff!

PS: I love the happy dance below ...

Well, I did say they can't sing/scream/howl like you. Mind you, I bet you don't look so good in hot pants.

Great video find, that song is off the album Goo which is my fave of theirs. They are big with punks/grunge fans. The feel of "The Pain" really reminded me of them.

I guess we know where the "Osc" in Osckilo comes from now....
