I agree that this is a little different for you Willie...but I think it sounds amazing anyway... I think it's good to sing even when it's hard and the perhaps lower energy is a good thing on something like this...
the song sounds amazing and I love the voice.

The guitar is a bit laid back too but so sublime...  also the melancholic feel is very much a valid energy right now.

This is a cool song Willie and the Acoustasonic sounds so good...I dig the reverb/delay effects on it! I'm glad you added your tasty signature, sustaining lead guitar style to it...that's a real nice touch. I think your vocal is more than good and very fitting for the song. It adds a cool emotional vibe to it. Excellent my friend!

This song sounds up to your usual high standard, to my ears. Those guitar lines are gold, and your vocals are working the story expressed in the lyrics well. Very expressive.

damn right the drums are great Ken... so... this makes me feel like I feel when I hear the drums on a good system of some of the great Eagles tracks... wow
