Hey Bob This is one smok'n song. Pure rock song. Great lyrics, music, vocals and the arrangement is perfect. I felt like I was at a local bar listen to some great band bringing down the house. Great party song. The only thing I would do is add more voices in the chorus ( where you say small town twice) make it a more infectious party chant. But You got a really smok'n song on your hands. congrats

Thanks! Glad you guys all picked up on the VH influence. Now if I could just play like Ed, then I'd be on to something.

@antisocialworker: the harmonics are actually natural harmonics played by lightly touching the string directly above the fret (typically 5, 7, 9, or 12) at the same you pluck the string with a pick. Any pinch harmonics are accomplished by (at least the way I do it) plucking the string with the edge of the pick and the fleshy part of my thumb (pick hand). The artificial (or pinch) harmonics are the really high-pitched ones.
You've only got 12 notes and however you mix them up is your thing. - Edward Van Halen
