David Lowery is the main songwriter from the bands Cracker and Camper van Beethoven, this song is from his solo album "The Palace Guards". The song is a three chorder, what was I thinking trying to cover it, Mr lowery IMHO is a genuis.

I am also unfamiliar with David Lowery but this song has a great, great chorus to it. Sometimes, 3 chords are all you need. Such a stellar vocal too and fine music to back it up.
