Little Queen of Spades is a blues song by the American blues musician Robert Johnson .

I'm delighted to play a blues that's older than me!...I was -10 when it came out.  ;D

Made famous by Eric Clapton, who covered it many times.

It's good to play the blues once in a while  ;)

Very nicely covered, JP and you have captured that blues feel perfectly.

Thanks Pete and Ray, I love the blues and particularly Clapton's (how does he manage to play like that with practically two fingers on his left hand, like his illustrious guitar peer Django Reinhart).

...as the title is "Queen of Spades" I'm currently training to make an illustration video using playing cards, which is one of my hobbies. :)

Such a fine and tasty performance!

Knowing R.Johnson and Eric i'm wondering if the spade is really a spade, or if it's just a spade. Maybe i'm thinking too much...

Yes it is good to just sit back and play the blues sometimes. It is such a comforting sound. I love how you even did the high pitch "oooh" every now and again that was Robert Johnson's trademark. Lovely listen.

Mike
