Down on the corner is a Creedence Clearwater Revival song from 1969.

it's a family cover because there are 3 generations

JP (grandfather), Cécile (my daughter) Guillaume (my son-in-law) and Antonin (my grandson)

lots of instruments and voices here

Cécile: lead vocals, 2 backing vocals, Ukulele, rhythm guitar, Cajon, tambourine

Guillaume Uke bass, 2 backing vocals, egg, mandolin; Tenor Guitar

Antonin (8 years old) backing vocals, keyboard...and saucepan

JP modestly a small solo on Dobro and clave (...and mix)

We had a great time, I hope you did too!

Love this song, and this is a really great version!  Nice playing and singing all around!  I remember seeing some videos on YouTube put out by John Fogerty during the pandemic with him together with three of his adult children together playing acoustic versions of some of his famous CCR songs. Actually now I see that they released an Album - "Fogerty's Factory". So this sort of reminds me of that!

first off, I really really like the CCR!  They were very special with unique rhythms their very own.  I understand how great Fogerty was but this band was way more than him.  I don't know much about them but I listened to them lots... there is a reason why so many of their songs were on the radio.  I don't think there is another band on the planet that is truly like them.

nice cover and I really like the vocals... glad you could get the family to play with you.  that is special.. tell them all a big thanks for me
