Lobotomy Frankie (Minimal synth, Storyfest)

Ok. I was not going to post this song, but what the heck. Most of it was done on Polyend Tracker while sitting in the living room and playing with the dogs. I then did a bit of mixing in the DAW and added the somewhat improvised reality based lyrics.

The original idea was to make tracks based on history as a part of a bigger project. Which i might, or might not do (cold wave / minimal synth thing).

(* This word is a bit of a cheat. I improvised the lyrics and it SOUNDS a bit like i'm saying something along the lines of "jewel" so i'm sticking to that

I love stuff like this... man alive it bores holes in me!  The vocals are so perfect after that long intro... this sort of could be Eurythmics mixed with electronica, talking heads and etc... but it is creative as ever!  Glad you posted it!

When I read "minimal synth" I thought you had worked hard for once to restrain yourself from using too much synth. But I was pleasantly surprised that it is a cool synth song. 

Your "I took her on a date, Where she almost r..."
Clearly it should be "I took her on a date, Where she almost ran", right? 

This is cool. I enjoyed this. I'm blown away by what you come up so quickly by improvising.
