The older among you may remember this song by Los Indios Trabajaras, which was a hit throughout Latin America, and then in the United States (14 weeks in the Hot 100, including 4 weeks in the top 10), followed by similar success in the UK and France.
..1963 I was 15 years old when I discovered the guitar, the Shadows, then the Beatles and Rolling Stone.
All the apprentice guitarists in short pants of my generation tried to play that tune.

I recently found it on YouTube in an arrangement for Dobro by Jimmy Efferman, so I wanted to play this nostalgic tune again. :) , with my Dobro guitar

JP, comment es-tu capable de faire de la si bonne musique encore et encore ?

Votre cœur et votre âme sont dans votre jeu et votre production. C'est spécial et très apprécié par moi!

JP, how are you able to pull off such great music time and time again?

Your heart and soul are in your playing and your production.  That is special and very appreciated by me!

Nice Dobro work Jp ,I'm not familiar with band in a box is this different from a backing track?
The Dobro work is fantastic and the sound is excellent.
You are a talented guy.
I've not heard the track before so I like the way you educate me with new music.
Well done.

Quote"I'm not familiar with band in a box is this different from a backing track"
Band in a box is an arranger which allows you to make backing tracks from a chord grid... at the beginning the instruments were purely midi but for the last ten years or so the instruments chosen for the chord grid have been samples of real instruments played by musicians (often from Nashville or Ontario).
the problem is that it's an "easy solution" and shouldn't be abused... I use BIAB realtracks less and less... except for instruments I can't play like the sitar in my recent version of Sunshine superman...
here is a video explaining the realtracks

Another great listen. You are like a time machine, taking us waaay back... and that is a place I really like to go. I recently acquired some very old Louis Armstrong singles from my Dad and they made the hair on my arms stand up. But this is great... lovely JP
