PDG - And NO false modesty either!  ;D
We know that talent is given out by the gods in a very random way -

Too long since I visited this great little room in our community (been quite busy).

Glad I took the time now. This is foot-tapping, put-a-big-smile-on-my-face, brilliant, simple-but-not-simple-at-all music that I could listen to for hours!!!!

Great song and performance Charlie !!!

Thanks for stoppin' by Ron. I think a boogie piano is a great idea...but i can't play piano and the song is long done...carved in stone on my new Cd. I rarely go back once the song is done...but i will keep your idea in mind for my next bout with boogie fever  :D

Geir! Thanks for swingin' way down the boards. I have been gone alot again...just no time at this point. Your comments are appreciated. You don't have to be gentle with me...lol...you called my song "simple" because it is...in fact, they don't get much simpler. No bridge and even the chorus is the same chords as the verses....endless boogie E-G-A  until the cows come home. Mostly i wanted to tell the story and have fun doing it. Keep making great music my Norwegian friend!

Nothing wrong with simple. Cut it back, keep it raw, and kick some ass, just like this. Nice one.

I really love this one P-dog, so very cool.  I love your edgy voice here and that outro solo is just killer.  Gret stuff, I had to bump this one back up.

That's really ironic that you brought up this song Dave. I went back and posted the lyrics. The "River" it keeps referring to is the Genesee. The subject matter of the song is...well...i think the lyrics give it away... :o  Guerilla farming is not growing guerillas  :D

In honor of our good friend Pinedog coming back for another recording/songwriting season, I thought I would bump one of my favorites from this great home-recording artist.  I still love this one to bits P-dog, you really captured something here.
