Steve sent me over this backer to see what I could come up with. I was reading the papers about the riots in France and how they started and it didn't make sense that they just shot someone for not stopping while driving without a license until I read a report in the Observer then it seemed to make sense...Thanks Steve

The riots in France are started by a car thief who didn't stop
A young Moroccan
a bullet from the cops gun
Dropped the fool quick
Why wouldn't he stop
He was only driving without a license
Why would the cop shoot him
What threat was he
I'm confused
I have to look a little deeper
Why looking a revealing testimony opens up the story
A resident of the Pablo Picasso estate in a suburb of Paris 
Near to where the teenager was killed during the traffic stop
There have been 21 fatal police traffic stop shootings since 2020
Most of those victims were Black or of Arab origins
Are we getting closer to the reason why now

Trev, thanks for doing this.  Your vocals are always great and I wondered what you would do with the track...
You always find interesting and impactful things to sing about... plus your mix and effects vocals to music is  very good! 

The music track I made a while ago.  I really like the feel... the beat is slightly off...

When this kicked in it felt really satisfying, deep down I really crave just a kick ass rock song sometimes and this was perfect! Lovely job Trev and Steve.
