A very faithful cover - especially in the bass and synth sounds and the chorus - takes me right back to 1983!

Guilty pleasure confession: I can't honestly say I was much of a fan of the Human League, but this song in particular - and (perhaps to a lesser extent) 'Don't You Want Me' - both struck a chord with me at the time. I think maybe as much for their male and female vocal duet parts as well as their synth-pop style.

Come to think of it, 1983 was definitely a landmark year for synth-pop. There were so many synth-pop hits that year...

Well I thought that band was quite cheesy and every time I heard that cocktail waitress song over I laughed and I still do... however that song did get in my head recently and it seemed better than back then...

but this freaking rocks Nick... such fun and joy coming forth from the speakers.
