My respect for MBR's just went up another notch. Amazing. Really enjoyed this song Tim..i have yet to hear a tune of yours i didn't like. This one sounds like a lost track from Sgt Peppers...your chords are wonderful and i like your vox...more and more over time. Well done man.. 8)

What can I say?  Another classic by Greeny.  I said it before, I'll say it again ... no offense to anyone else here, but you are The Superstar of the Forum.  Your music and production is perfect.  I cannot believe the vocals are recorded using an on-board microphone on this crazy little piece of machinery.  And to think many people spend $1000 or more on ridiculous condenser mics.  This proves it's not necessary at all.  The Micro can do it all as good as any professional studio -- provided, of course, that you have someone with your skills producing the music.  And who has your set of skills?  Very few in the world, my friend.  Very few.  The only thing ever missing from your songs is live drums.  One of these days I will have to do some drums for you ... if you'll let me, of course.

IMMACULATE, sir. :) :D ;D :o

Wow! Thanks!!!!!!! From someone whose music I admire so much, that means a lot. I think we share a lot of influences and similar musical aspirations.

I agree on the drum issue. I've done so many songs on the BR now that I feel I've wrung every combination and idea out of them. I have a forlorn hope that oneday there will be some new rhythm patches to upload / download from Boss, but the reality is that I'll have to wait for a new version of the BR for that. So yes... the drums do frustrate me, and I've heard the difference in variation and subtleness that you've got out of a live kit. It's definitely the way forward! And it would be interesting to hear it first-hand...

Thank YOU!  And, yes, it's clear we share a lot of the same musical influences and aspirations.

So, will I ever be privileged enough to lay down drums for a Greeny original?

Excellent, great lyrics as usual and another great song. Really like the guitar at the end but I'm with Bluesberry - your bass on this one is GREAT! Nice strong meldoic line that complements the song really well and superbly recorded - just the right balance so it doesn't get lost. Another string to your multi-stringed bow!

Cheers,

Nigel
