NO KING OF MINE

don't give a shit about your ermine fur or your postage stamps - hey hey
I hope your made-up god will rain on your parade
and all your coronation skies are grey-grey

you may have a crown and everything
but you're no king of mine
no king of mine
you may have a crown and everything
but you're no king of mine
no king of mine

there's abject poverty as you glide by in carriages of gold - hey hey
and it's not coming out your pocket
all the hamsters on the wheel must pay-pay

you may have a crown and everything
but you're no king of mine
no king of mine
you may have a crown and everything
but you're no king of mine
no king of mine

like a house of cards collapsing
you are going down

you may have a crown and everything
but you're no king of mine
no king of mine
you may have a crown and everything
but you're no king of mine
no king of mine

holy shit man... there is some angst going on right now... I dig it... I like protest rock... this sounds so like modern kinks... this rocks so hard... I dig the lyrics.  ALOT... but the guitar tones and vocals are king of mine on here... I love the crown... you wear it so well men!

I bow!

Fantastic rock-n-roller! Excellent energetic backer from Kari (those drums sound great, and I also noticed a bit of a 'Lust for Life' vibe), and plenty of snarl from Tim along with some stonking panned leads. Mighty fine collaboration.

Rock it out, fellas!

Hey hey!

And upbeat angry song – with a tambourine! What a great feel.

A non-English speaker would never suspect this is dripping with political vitriol.

I hope they play this at the coronation...lol... can you imagine?  A massive PA blaring this out to all the masses...the adoring crowd gasp as these pirates hi jack the blue tooth airwaves and beam this right into the system... they try to pull the plug and it just keeps on playing... on repeat...
as Kate and Andrew lead millions of protestors on a large dance away...lol

Visicous! Such great lyrics here. It's really quite ridiculous to have such a lavish display when so many are suffering out there! Great backer and stellar, climbing melody in the chorus. Ripping guitar solo too! Well done dudes...
