Old People Can Rock (instrumental)

I had the grandkids (3) for a week... we were mostly at their house. So I took the R24 and my HB along with the Trio and the Boss....
so I found this riff after working with alot of different music. Mostly playing along to (Launched) Mark's song a while back changed the way I think about playing....

but the crazy thing about this track is that Digitech has people making these things that can produce and incredible bass and drums part just off the guitar riff/chords I play into it.
So the riff with chords I played into it. Then I recorded the drums and bass part... then the guitar part x 2... panned them all the way left to right.

I think this could be a two headed guitarist on the lead...

I may do a vocal for this... but if someone wants at it go right ahead

This sounds like early Aerosmith or something like that... at least the guitars.Old guys can rock.mp3

You definitely "rock" Stephen..I loved the video too, nice to see you playing this. It's a great song in the classic rock style. Nice guitar and the drum and bass backing is really good.
I love the riffing. And the timing is all spot on.
Would be interesting to hear if you or someone add vocals.

The Trio thing is certainly all kinds of cool... Yet it pales in comparison to the man playing!

Cool grooves. I actually got some "appropriate" lyrical ideas hearing that riff

Might try to demo them for you.

Depends on if they work when i get to it later...

Also a great thing seeing you perform the song!
