I could have just as easily put this maorceau in gear lust but i wanted to keep it in my juke box i have in my plug ins park...

I have in my plug ins park a great reverb from Waves H reverb
and I found a setting I wanted to try with a slow drum played with my weissenborn

The song I chose is "these streets were clean" by Thomas Oliver
for those who are interested the reverb setting is the following
pre delay 272 ms is the time before the reverb starts
build up 2000ms is the maximum revrb peak
reverb time 5500ms is the reverb time
this gives as a result a clear sound of the instrument with a long and shifted reverb which makes a kind of halo in echo

I will make a video if I find images of deserted road post apocalyptic ...

Enchanting instrumental JP! Quite haunting as a solo acoustic piece with just a touch of reverb. The slide works wonderful. Nothing like some good acoustic guitar!

This is what I like....fantastic acoustic song...I totally love it

this is so wonderful JP.... hauntingly beautiful... somewhat reminds me of the great sounds that Lindsey Buckingham and team could get in the wonderful work of Fleetwood Mac.

I love your willingness to experiment and then to share the results and how you did it.  It's a lovely piece.

I added a "video" which is only a pretext to have a version of my covers in .WAV
and for my friends who are not on SC

There is a double tribute
-first to the music composed and played on the Weissenborn guitar by Thomas Oliver internationally recognized as one of the leading players of the Weissenborn lap-steel guitar

-secondly for the movie "the road" and the short story of Cormac McCarthy: we are in an era extremely disturbed by the international political situation and the geo climatological deregulation which generates a lot of movies, post apocalyptic series which are not always of a great quality, which is not the case of this movie and this short story from which the movie is coming

-There is another quote in homage to a VERY great American musician and guitarist who lives in France, not far from where I live and that I had the chance and opportunity to know STEVE WARING, I took some measures of his composition "Song for Renee" at the end of the piece

Lovely instrumental..nice use of reverb, it would sound sparse without it but the reverb fills out the spaces. Great listen !

A haunting instrumental performance coming from Mr. taste & talent. This is really cinematic and makes a great use of the ambience. Bravo!
