I spent weeks on a different song but in the end it didn't work out so I have shelved that idea for the moment. As a way to make me feel better (although this tune is a bit miserable ) I decided to back to a more familiar style for me.

The title came I think out of the blue and went for a walk and a bit of the tune and a couple of lines came, being careful not to be spotted singing on the street recorded a snippet. Anyway this is it...

1 main vocal, 1 backing vocal

1 Bass - cheap HB mini bass (my best purchase pound for pound)
1 organ sound played on guitar via Boss SY-200

Flipping love this Mike....menacing and spooky....it's got the spook....love those background vocals....love the lyrics....love your vocal delivery....love the guitars .....and great punchy bass......total pro song in your usual awesome style.....oh yeah, almost forgot....love the wonderful understated solo....just perfect

Love this. Cool song, Mike & those guitars panned left & right sound great. Lyrics are dark and suit the overall mood of the song perfectly. Then that guitar solo at 2:39 .... beautiful.

When i hear a Mike song i always go for the vocs. Then comes all the other good stuff which there's always a plenty and this is no exception.

I like the build up you're able to achieve here both musically and lyrically. The drum beats are also inspired. Something a bit different from the norm.

A song that gets under the skin. Great stuff Mike!
