I've listened to the last 2 versions and the vocal sounds good on both. The last vocal seems to have more mid frequencies, less effected and it does sound more relaxed. But, both sound good. I know the song but I'm not real familiar with it. I'll have to give the clip Stephen posted a listen. Overall, this sound real good Zoltan!

Loved this Zoltan, don't think i know the original but after reading through some of the comments I think I might spend tomorrow listening to some Linda Rondstadt and Joan Baez. Loved your bass playing on this, great feel and you sing so well on here too. Big atmosphere created here, great stuff.

What a great version Z.  A splendid vocal performance and the laid back instrumentation works brilliantly.

I'm not surprised that Nick likes this.  He might not remember that it was one of the songs that I was asked to play along with at an informal audition with the band that he played bass with.  I didn't know the song well but I got the gig.  It must have been about 40 years ago.  That's frightening. What was even more frightening was that when I turned up with my Strat and a Marshall, in the corner was a keyboard player sitting behind a Hammond B3 and with a minimoog and an Arp Odyssey on top.  Blimey I thought - big time!  What I didn't know then was that the guy had the gear but only knew how to get farting noises out of them.  But good times!
