"Ohio" is a protest song and counterculture anthem written and composed by Neil Young in reaction to the Kent State shootings of May 4, 1970, and performed by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
It was released as a single, backed with Stephen Stills's "Find the Cost of Freedom".
Young wrote the lyrics to "Ohio" after seeing the photos of the incident in Life Magazine.

To all our social justice fighters.
May you have the strength, the stamina, and the charity to understand and love others, even in the midst of chaos and evil!!!
Love, peace, and joy to all peoples!!!

Feedback is much appreciated.  Thank you.

I find that your voice goes well with the repertoire and tessitura of neil young

another range that should suit you well dear Rene is the repertoire of Cat Stevens...I am waiting for one of his songs ;)
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

interesting that you did this song after the recent disaster in Ohio with the train derailment...

I like this song but the subject is quite difficult...

great cover Rene!  A good reminder.

The great state of Ohio has had its share of disasters.  This and as Steve pointed out, the recent train derailment/pollution issue.  I pray for those people.  And as in the Kent State disaster, our government doesn't seem to care. :(

You always do a great job of making a song your own.  Brilliant job here as well.

Very timely to sing this song now, as Johnbee put it, it really seems like the government doesn't even care! There's plenty of stories now in Ontario and Quebec of the "chemical snow" raining down on towns  north of the border as well. Great arrangement of this song and as always, you've got a super solid groove going.

Fantastic cover.......you made it your own.........tough subject....which created this incredible song

Great work Rene. The older I get the more events in the world are upsetting me. I try to remain balanced and open minded as I can but yeah so much sad shit. Anyway good choice of song and well performed.
