Considered as the little sister of Little Wing, Angel is a composition that dates back several years: some embryonic versions will be released by Experience Hendrix LLC later. Mitch Mitchell's playing is more loaded than usual, probably to mask the still very raw side of the take retained: the vocals are accompanied by only one rhythm guitar.

I haven't listened to this song much but I love when Jimmi does his "soul" thing. I love the effect of the electric guitar here, your playing here is very reminiscent of him! The chords through the instrumental passages are so beautiful as are your vocals. Really nice cover!
