;) ;) Ok Bluesberry.   You invited us new talents to try this out.  So I did!  I knew I had to do it tonight or not until Sunday. I thought it was a very good backer.  Kind of down and dirty. LOL   So I usually use Big Strum, but this time I used Blues Dr. And I cranked the reverb up on the track to about 80.  I dont like dead sounds.  I only tried it about 4 times before I recorded as I tend to play myself to death and get worse.  My playing was somewhat repetitive, but I was really getting into it.  I like this blues stuff.  So thanks for inviting us new ones to play also.   soooo. Here goes ::)

Holy crap Wiley that sounds just like 48 playing that, especially the tone and bends.  You have been absorbing a lot from your teacher.  You are becoming pretty darn good in such a short time.  Go wiley go!!!  It is a challenge to play along with something for 4 minutes and not feel like you are repeating yourself isn't it.  You did good, real good.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Just to clarify. This track is from Guitarist mag 317, called Bluesheadlines by David Gilmour, in-which he plays some very tastful lead.
The next Mp3 is called BluesHeadlines_BT. This is whats posted.
So the lead you hear, is actually part of the backing.

Famous last words before The Addiction sets in  :D

You were getting into it Wiley and doing well. I'd say "stick with it" but no need for that...you're already hooked  8)

And you did a great job - first time I've heard you with a dirty sound. You played it really well, it may be simple but some of those repeated phrases work very well - it creates a melodic and mournful feel. You are really progressing, great job.

Cheers,
