This is a sort of experimental love song. I am in the middle of reading Faith Hope and Carnage by Nick Cave and Sean O'Hagan. In the book Nick Cave talks about visualising a song before writing the lyrics (it's a bit more high faluting than that but I'm sure you get the drift). Me and the missus do a lot of hill walking and travelling etc so that was the image I had in my mind when the words came.
Recording was a bit different too. i plugged my iphone into my soundcard and recorded some soft synths live to tracks on Garageband on my macbook,and then strummed along on my Jasmine acoustic, before wailing over the top.

It is what it is.

Very excellent song...it has a nice bouncy feel to it....maybe the way you recorded it ....sure sounds good

Beautiful and atmospheric. Such a lovely wash of sound and emotion, and you sing it so well. Totally authentic. It really feels like mountains and wide open spaces. Fantastic.
