I got a Gr-55 guitar synth with Christmas money.
I always wanted one but could never afford it,good old ebay came to the rescue.
It was a leap of faith but it was minted
Took me a while to set it up to my michael kelly guitar ,pickup was a pain but got there in the end.
Every single sound on this apart from the drums is the GR-55.
Hope you like it.

Sweet sounds here.......you are in for hours of fun.......there is something very satisfying about playing keyboard sounds on a guitar........smooth and grooving .....great frigging vocal........and guitar solo for the ages.......

Wow, I'm impressed with the sounds you're getting. Never paid much attention to guitar synths as I always thought they were a bit gimmicky but you've shown that they're a lot more useful than I expected. If I'd not known I'd have thought you were using keys. I love the brass sound as well !

By the way, the song's excellent too !

Not only does that guitar/synth sound great but this is also a great soul song. Excellent vocal and cool production not to mention that great guitar solo. You are gonna have heaps of fun with this new toy.

Versatile new tool you have there. Should be tons of fun discovering its capabilities. Sounds great here. Good song and vocals as well.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

70s pop and motown shine here KM... and i can sense your enthusiasm is high on this device.  It shines into the song.

You write lots of great songs... this is quite different.  The lead is more typical but even if all you ever did with the synth was this its a gr8 purchase.
Many kudos

Holy Hell, that was quite the solo. Love the whole song, but I was grooving big time during the outro. I even did the "look down at the floor and shake your head side to side in time to the music" thing. Killer vocals by the by.

Great tones throughout. You are inspiring me to resurrect my guitar synth.  Before I relegated it to the closet of neglect, I was using it for inputting midi and doubling it with guitar synth or electric guitar or piezo acoustic. I never fully exploited it to its full potential.

Great tune.

Kenny, you are an amazing musician. The vocal parts are excellent along with the backers, just so nice! And of course I loved the gritty guitar work towards the end!

Great song from a great songcrafter!

This is great songwriting. Makes me think of Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band with their Spector-ish wall of sound. Massive sounds and atmosphere. And that's a killer solo too. Brilliant stuff Kenny.

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

Fantastic song, very catchy music and chorus. The guitar synth sounds awesome. I was also going to say it's got that Springsteen vibe to it. great vocals and songwriting.
