This is like the demo of a Leonard Cohen song.

The last verse where the vocals are ghostly doubled is really a really cool effect. Be sure to do that on the final version (sparingly).

Re. Production: Tell us a little about what you are using to record and produce the song. The EQ booms a bit. Some EQ tweaks would really make this sparkle. The guitar sounds like a piezo pickup. Mic the guitar if you can.
